Web Hosting Awards

Last week, the guys at 100best-web-hosting.com announced the winners of their 2009 web hosting awards. I don’t know all the criteria they used to determine which web hosts received their top honors, but I must say that I am generally in agreement with their selections for best hosts of the year.

The news article I read mentioned that their top hosting award winners were HostMonster (Host of the Year), IX Web Hosting (Readers Choice Award Winner) and GoDaddy (Best Domain Host). All three of these web hosts are very solid, dependable web hosts that know what they are doing. They have all been in business for quite a while, and in the case of GoDaddy, they are the king of the domain registration market. HostMonster and IX Web Hosting both have some of the best people in the web hosting industry running their companies.

I am convinced that a couple of the major reasons these three hosts took home 100best-web-hosting.com’s top awards is because of their cheap hosting prices and exceptional customer service. As I mentioned before, I do agree that HostMonster, IX Web Hosting and GoDaddy are all great choices when selecting a web host for all of the reasons mentioned above. And I know that 100best-web-hosting.com and I are not the only ones singing the praises of these three web hosts. HostMonster, IX Web Hosting and GoDaddy seem to receive many of the best reviews and ratings by a number of respectable organizations that know what to look for in a web host.
